These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Dictarium mobile application ("Dictarium", "the app", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Dictarium for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to apps distributed through the App Store. Where these Terms and Apple's standard EULA differ, the terms more protective of your rights apply to the corresponding subject.
Dictarium presents quotations attributed to historical figures, along with short biographies and contextual notes. This content is offered for inspirational and educational purposes. We curate quotations we believe to be in the public domain and strive for accurate attribution, but historical quotations are sometimes paraphrased, misattributed, or disputed across sources. Content is therefore provided "as is" without warranty as to historical accuracy or authorship.

The app, its name, logo, design, and original written content (including curated biographies and notes) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The license granted above does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Dictarium is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
